Cassinis flyby of Saturn´s moon Phoebe on June 11 reveals interesting pictures which have yielded strong evidence that the tiny object may contain ice-rich material, overlain with a thin layer of darker material perhaps 300 to 500 meters (980 to 1,600 feet) thick.

On July 1, 2004 the Cassini spacecraft will arrive at Saturn. This will mark the end of the spacecraft's journey through the Solar System as well as the beginning of its tour of Saturn, its rings, moons, and magnetosphere.

The Huygens probe will usher in 2005 with its landmark mission at Titan. After a seven-year journey strapped to the side of the Cassini Orbiter, Huygens will be set free on Dec. 25, 2004. The Probe will coast for 21 days en route to Titan and enter it at January 14, 2005.
